Nominations for the 2013 George R. Terry Book Award are now being accepted!
The George R. Terry Book Award is granted annually to the book judged to have made the most outstanding contribution to the advancement of management knowledge, and published during the past two years. Books that contribute to the advancement of management theory, conceptualization, research, or practice are eligible. Books intended or primarily used as text books are not eligible for this award. Nominated books must be single-authored, not edited.
The nomination process consists of sending copies of the book to the Chair and members of the Award Committee in both hard copy and e-versions. Nominations are submitted directly to the award committee by participating publishers.
If Academy members wish to nominate a book for this award, they must contact the publisher of that particular book and ask them to complete the nomination process.
Winners of this prestigious award are recognized at the Academy‘s Annual Meeting in August and are expected to accept the award in person.
All members of the committee must receive book nominations in both hard copy and e-versions between February 1 – March 1, 2013.
