A new study in next month's Academy of Management Perspective finds that not only are involved working fathers more satisfied with their jobs, they're less likely to resign.  Fortune's Tom Huddleston, Jr. takes a closer look at the study, as well as an organization's role in fostering this relationship. The study was co-authored by Jamie Ladge (Northeastern University), Beth Humberd (University of Massachusetts-Lowell), Marla Baskerville Watkins (Northeastern University), and Brad Harrington, executive director of the Boston College Center for Work & Family.
