This month, Huffington Post contributor O'Brien Browne took on the differences between male and female conflicts in the workplace, and he cited a paper published in Academy of Management Perspectives in February 2013 (Vol. 27, No. 1) which "illustrates that female and male subjects perceive conflict between two women as more negative than as between male-male and male-female, in part because it violates notions of how women are supposed to behave."
