Conflict Management (CM) Division Awards

This year, CMD sponsored 15 paper sessions and co-sponsored 23 symposia. These sessions covered a broad range of topics, including trust, ethical judgments, fairness, power and emotion.

We would like to congratulate Laurie Weingart (Carnegie Mellon University) and her co-authors, who received the Best Theoretical or Empirical Paper Award for "The Directness and Oppositional Intensity of Conflict Expression. Karen Jehn (Melbourne Business School) is also a coauthor on this paper

We celebrate the success off Geoffrey Kistruck and his co-authors, who received the Carolyn Dexter Award for their paper Competition vs. Cooperation: Motivating Groups in Base-of-the-Pyramid Markets. We also thank Zoe Barsness (outgoing Past Division Chair) for her 5 years of service to the division, Robert Lount and Francesca Gino for their 2 years of service as Reps-at-Large, and Anita Bhappu for her 2 years of service as Web Manager.
