The Academy of Management is proud to be a partner of
The PhD Project
, an organization aimed at changing the future workforce by providing historically underrepresented students a model of achievement and businesses
to enrich the talent pipeline.
Through partnerships, networking, mentoring, and unique events, The PhD Project empowers the community to help students from historically underrepresented backgrounds earn PhDs so they can inspire and educate the next generation of business leaders.
When the PhD Project was launched in 1994, there were fewer than 300 diverse business faculty. Today, there are 1,422 active PhD Project faculty members and close to 300 doctoral students, including 642 Management members.
