On-site Health & Safety

In preparation for the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management, we are collaborating with and monitoring updates from our conference venues, King County, WA, and the City of Seattle to ensure that safety precautions are in place for the on-site meeting. We ask that you partner with us by following the appropriate guidelines and procedures to ensure everyone’s safety. By attending, you understand and commit to following and respecting these measures.

Seattle/King County Update - 12 March 2022

Washington State will no longer require the wearing of masks in many indoor public spaces, including entertainment and recreation venues like the Washington State Convention Center as well as restaurants and bars. However, some private businesses and organizations may require you to wear a mask, and masks are still mandatory on public transportation.

Please be aware that conditions and requirements may change between now and the dates of the Annual Meeting. The Academy of Management will adhere to and enforce CDC and County health and safety policies.

For more information, please see the travel advisories for the City of Seattle.

Seattle/King County Update - 1 March 2022

The City of Seattle and King County, WA have lifted the vaccination verification requirement. While these changes are encouraging, it is possible that conditions may change again between now and August.

With the health and safety of our Annual Meeting attendees, exhibitors, and partners a continuing priority, the Academy of Management plans to uphold its vaccination requirement for AOM 2022. In-person attendees should still plan to submit proof of vaccination in advance of the Annual Meeting.

For more information, please see the travel advisories for the City of Seattle.
