Important Changes to AOM Publications' New Orders and Renewals in 2025
Effective January 2025: The Academy of Management (AOM) has partnered with ESBCO to distribute electronic access to all AOM journals. As a result, AOM will no longer accept institutional or individual orders for the electronic versions of our journals. That includes both new orders and renewals. Current subscribers with an electronic journal subscription having a January 2025 start date, or any customer wishing to purchase an electronic journal subscription, must contact their existing EBSCO representative or send an email directly to AOM@ebsco.com.
The AOM will only take 2025 orders for print customers, or electronic access to our non-journal products, AOM Collections and/or AOM Insights.

1. Who will be sending out the 2025 electronic journal subscription renewals to agents and/or non-agent customers?
The AOM will not be sending out renewals for their electronic journal subscriptions. Agents and/or customer(s) must contact EBSCO (AOM@Ebsco.com ) to ensure new electronic journal subscriptions are processed for 2025.
2. Who will be sending out the 2025 print renewals to agents and/or non-agent customers?
Print renewals will go out as soon as possible, in line with the typical renewal cycles. Print pricing for 2025 is listed below.
3. My current subscription expires in October 2024. Will AOM handle the renewal?
Yes, the AOM will handle any access and renewals for orders starting before January 1, 2025.
4. I am an agent ordering for customers—why was I not notified of this change?
We apologize for any inconvenience; multiple letters were sent to subscription agents to inform them of this change. Please contact your EBSCO rep should you have any questions.
5. My 2024 order was for both electronic access AND print. What will happen to that order?
If your order has a Jan 2025 start date you will need to place two orders for 2025, one with AOM for the print and the other with EBSCO for electronic access. Please note: EBSCO will also offer their “Flipster” product to AOM journal customers—their representatives will be happy to tell you more about this product.
6. Where will my AOM journal access be hosted in 2025 and onward?
Access to AOM journal content will be managed by EBSCO and through their EBSCOhost platform.
7. What will be the AOM journal online access pricing for 2025?
EBSCO will be setting the online access pricing for the AOM journals. As of now, we do not have that information, but please feel free to contact your EBSCO representative or send an email to AOM@Ebsco.com.

General Policies
- 5% agent discount.
- No cancellations except for duplicate orders.
- Prepayment in full required on all orders.
- Print back issues from North America is USD$35 and USD$40 for Rest of World. For more information, please contact the publishing department.
Missing Print Issue Policy
- Due to increases in the volume of requests and the cost of fulfilling missing journal claims, AOM will no longer provide replacement issues when an issue is claimed undelivered. If you are interested in receiving a PDF of a missing issue, please contact aom.ks@kwglobal.com.

Purchase an Article: Pay for Short-Term Access
Non-members of the Academy of Management can purchase access to individual publication articles. Browse through the full archive of online content and select the article you want access to. When you are prompted to sign in, select the "Purchase Short Term Access" option.
Short term access is $35 USD per article for 3-day access.

Annual Meeting Proceedings
Academy of Management Proceedings is only published online. It includes abstracts of all papers and symposia presented at the annual conference. It also includes 6-page abridged versions of the “Best Papers” accepted for inclusion in the program (approximately 10%). Papers published in the Proceedings are abridged because presenting papers at their full length could preclude subsequent journal publication. Abstracts are available free of charge, but 6-page summaries are available to AOM members only. Click here to learn more about becoming an AOM member.
