(GMT-05:00) Eastern Daylight Time
Academy of Management Journal (AMJ) will be hosting an online workshop addressing and discussing ever-evolving issues on transparency and rigor in empirical research. The goal of this workshop is to showcase and discuss best practices in research transparency and share advice and tips on how to approach these issues for paper submissions to AMJ.
In addition, participants will have an opportunity to submit an extended abstract of a paper for developmental feedback with a focus on the method section and transparency issues. Consistent with the mission of AMJ, submissions on all management-relevant topics, at all levels of analysis, and using all empirical methods are invited for the workshop.
Submitting an extended abstract is not a requirement for attending this workshop.
Online Workshop
28 February 2022
9:00 am-12:00 pm EST (GMT/UTC-4)
Registration is required for all participants.
The deadline for registration is 7 February 2022.
If you are also submitting a paper for review, please submit an extended abstract of approximately 5 pages of text with a focus on methods. Submissions from both faculty and doctoral students are welcome. You are also welcome to include any specific questions that you may have regarding transparency standards in relation to your paper. We will accept as many extended abstracts as possible; however, depending on the number of submissions we receive, we may not be able to accept all abstracts.
If you have any questions and inquiries, please contact Ivona Hideg.
