In Conjunction With (ICW) events are separate and distinct events that take place alongside AOM's Annual Meeting sessions. They are scheduled, organized, and hosted by third party organizations, universities, and other groups for participants who are attending AOM's Annual Meeting.
ICW events cannot be used for interview purposes, nor can they be used by an AOM division or interest group (DIG), or affiliate to obtain additional program time. However, DIGs may submit ICW events for non-AOM related events such as journal events
or other outside events. Memorial services can also be scheduled as ICW events and receive complimentary space.
An ICW must be scheduled as an in-person only session from Friday, 25 July through Tuesday, 29 July. ICW organizers do not need to be AOM members or registered for the meeting to submit an ICW request. However, anyone attending an ICW event onsite must be registered to attend the meeting and must be a member of the Academy of Management.
Each ICW submission can be scheduled for a maximum duration of 4 hours. The space rental fee is $500 per ICW submission. Please note that catering services and any additional audio-visual requirements will incur additional charges.
