"In Conjunction With" (ICW) Events
In Conjunction With (ICW) events are separate and distinct events that take place alongside AOM's Annual Meeting sessions. They are scheduled, organized, and hosted by third party organizations, universities, and other groups for participants who are attending AOM's Annual Meeting.
ICW events cannot be used for interview purposes, nor can they be used by an AOM division or interest group (DIG), or affiliate to obtain additional program time. However, DIGs may submit ICW events for non-AOM related events such as journal events
or other outside events. Memorial services can also be scheduled as ICW events and receive complimentary space.
An ICW must be scheduled as an in-person only session from Friday, 25 July through Tuesday, 29 July. ICW organizers do not need to be AOM members or registered for the meeting to submit an ICW request. However, anyone attending an ICW event onsite must be registered to attend the meeting and must be a member of the Academy of Management.
- Any event with an anticipated attendance of 25 or fewer may proceed by submitting for an ICW when the system opens in May 2025.
- Any event with an anticipated attendance of over 25, please reach out to the AOM team at ICW@aom.org to discuss options.
2025 ICW Pricing
Each ICW submission can be scheduled for a maximum duration of 4 hours. The space rental fee is $500 per ICW submission. Please note that catering services and any additional audio-visual requirements will incur additional charges.
New for 2025:
- Sessions can be scheduled Friday, 25 July through Tuesday, 29 August between 08:30-18:30.
- Sessions can be scheduled at the Bella Center or the Crowne Plaza.
- The Bella Center does not have the availability to offer custom room sets or manage room set changes. Most of the rooms are set in theater (rows of chairs) and others are split with rows of chairs and round tables.
