“Divisions and Interest Groups are our local neighborhoods, where we make friends and learn from each other, where we serve as mentors and mentees, and where we receive feedback on our papers.”
Herman Aguinis, President of the Academy of Management
Ninth in the series: AOM President Herman Aguinis shares his insight on why DIGs are the “lifeblood” of the Academy of Management and observes that DIG leadership volunteers share in our common vision to enable a better world through our scholarship
and teaching about management. Several DIG volunteers provide testimonials that reflect their individual volunteer experience and offer examples of ways that DIGs are seeking to meet member needs.
Each of the 26 DIGs offers a different management discipline, and among other services, enables many networking opportunities for members who share similar aspects of research.
You can access professional development opportunities, recognition programs, and member communications specific to each DIG from their websites.

place each February.
