Academy of Management Journal launched a new digital series that allows listeners to get a behind the scenes look at AMJ. Members of the AOM community and beyond are invited to tune in to get first-hand information about the publishing process, meet editors of the journal, and discuss timely research insights in relation to current events. Two key features of this new series include a monthly podcast titled The Lit Review, and weekly Twitter Spaces on @AOMConnect.
The series is hosted by Marc Gruber, AMJ Editor and professor at the College of Management of Technology at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL); Sekou Bermiss, Associate Editor of AMJ and Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and Nettra Pan, Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship at Bayes Business School.
"With the advent of the digital age, journals can move from one-directional communication via published papers to platforms that facilitate and encourage exchange not only among scholars, but also among scholars and a variety of key stakeholders. It is AMJ's ambition to grasp these exciting digital possibilities, to serve the AOM community in novel ways, and to engage with audiences that have hitherto been challenging to reach." -AMJ Editor, Marc Gruber, on the inspiration behind the series
The Lit Review podcast will be published monthly and offers a deep dive into the research published in Academy of Management Journal. In every episode, AMJ Associate Editor Sekou Bermiss interviews authors and corporate leaders to obtain the story behind a recent research article. The podcast is available on all major podcasting platforms.
Tune in to #AMJRadioLive every Wednesday at 11:00 EST (UTC-5/GMT-5) on Twitter at @AOMConnect for fifteen minutes to hear live updates about recent articles, top researchers and their processes, and the latest thoughts from editors and facilitators of upcoming programs and special issues.
