Each year, the Academy of Management recognizes many individuals for their professional accomplishments, distinguished service, and exceptional contributions to the field of management.

 

All-Academy awards are presented during the Annual Meeting for top journal articles, authored books, meeting papers, and impact on management and organizational scholarship over the course of an individual’s career. The 79th Annual Meeting saw a record number of attendees - over 11,000 members traveled to Boston to take part in the meeting and its theme, '. 85 countries were represented with over half of the attendees stemming from outside of the United States.

The popular and well-regarded CARMA videos are now available to student members of the Academy of Management through the new Doctoral Student Development Program (DSDP). Student members now have online access to the comprehensive video library of the Consortium for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA).

 

The program is relevant to students in their roles as doctoral students, research assistants, research project leaders or manuscript authors and editors and is a valuable source of research methods information and support.
