Recruiters

Join us in Boston at the in-person 2023 Annual Meeting Career Fair where participants can meet with dozens of job seekers during this 5-day event. 

First time recruiting with us or just want to brush up on the current market and AACSB data?  Be sure to attend our Job Market Considerations for Recruiters session noted below. As the job seekers will meet following this session, we invite you to network with them prior to the start of their session, especially if you still have time on your calendar.

Recruiters participating in the Annual Meeting Career Fair will be able to:

  • Schedule interviews prior to the event, primarily informational in format.
  • Meet one-on-one with highly qualified job seekers looking for open positions from around the globe.
  • See the CVs from hundreds of participants, plus those who cannot attend.
  • Connect with AOM members who volunteer with the Career Services Committee.
  • Enjoy full access to the Annual Meeting.
Those who register will have the ability to view CVs in advance of the event, schedule interviews with interested job seekers, and meet on-site at a table reserved for your team. Increase your visibility by posting your job on the AOM Career Services Job Board and include application/outreach instructions for those you’d like to meet. Job seekers will be anxious to meet with you so please let them know when to expect a reply from someone on your team.

After 10 May, you’ll be able to purchase a Career Fair package on the Career Services Job Board. Pricing begins at $1,045, which includes one job posting and one reserved table.


Job Seekers

Join us in Boston at the fully in-person 2023 Annual Meeting Career Fair where participants can request interviews with dozens of recruiting teams in academia.

Want to be sure you are interview ready? Stop by the Career Services Registration table to schedule one-on-one time with an AOM Career Coach. Our coaches have a broad range of experience and actively volunteer with AOM and affiliated societies and organizations. Bring a copy of your CV and your questions. Business attire is required.

Job seekers participating in the Annual Meeting Career Fair will be able to:

  • Request interviews prior to the event, primarily informational in format.
  • Meet one-on-one with top employer representatives who are looking for job seekers like you.
  • See the job postings from the 80+ top employers expected to participate.
  • Attend a variety of sessions, workshops, networking events, and volunteer with Career Services.
  • Connect with an AOM Career Coach to have your CV reviewed, practice mock interviews, discuss salary negotiation tactics, and receive advice on career moves.
Those who register will have the ability to view jobs in advance of the event, contact employers to request an interview, and meet recruiting teams from around the globe. Increase your visibility by creating or updating your profile on the AOM Career Services Job Board and uploading a current copy of your CV. Employers will be able to review your profile and CV before the Career Fair so having them filled out and available increases your chances of being selected for an interview. We are seeing several recruiters requesting formal application prior to the meeting so be sure to read each posting thoroughly.

You must register for the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management to attend the in-person Career Fair in Boston.  Once you are registered to attend the Annual Meeting, be sure to create or update your Career Services profile.

After 10 May, you’ll be able to select “Attend This Event” on the Career Services event site so participating employers can find you and potentially schedule interviews.

Job Market Considerations for the Recruiter

WHO:Anyone responsible for conducting interview/informal sessions during the Career Fair and beyond.
WHY:This session hosted by the Career Services Committee provides recruiters with a review of the current job market data and how to navigate the AOM interview process. We invite you to stay and meet job seekers on the market prior to the following session, especially if you still have interview times available.
