RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP IN RISING ECONOMIES

The AOM Specialized Conference, took place in Bled, Slovenia from 23-25 October 2019. The conference was hosted by IEDC Bled School of Management, and organized in collaboration with the following AOM Division and Interest Groups: Management Education and Development (MED), Organizational Behavior (OB), Organizations and the Natural Environment (ONE), Social Issues in Management (SIM) and Strategic Management (STR).

Scholars, practitioners, and students from 45 countries came together in picturesque Lake Bled for thought -provoking sessions, memorable evening events, and intimate networking opportunities. There were over 190 accepted submissions that comprised over 60 concurrent sessions. The program featured 15 professional development workshops, and 39 unique paper sessions. For the first time, all six Academy Journals were featured at an AOM Specialized Conference. Attendees were given the opportunity to interact with each of the Academy’s journals through highly interactive journal paper development workshops organized by each editorial team. In addition, the conference featured keynote presentations/panels and a moderated debate featuring participants from industry, government, and academia, as well as the most recent former president of Slovenia.
