Recruiters
Join us in Chicago for the 2024 Annual Meeting Career Fair where recruiters can meet with dozens of job seekers during this 4-day event.
New larger tables and the ability to book a private room will enhance your recruitment experience.
Take advantage of our Friday Meet & Greet Networking Day to speak informally with Annual Meeting attendees to showcase your school, doctoral, and post-doctoral opportunities. We invite you to stay for our Networking Reception to continue meeting with attendees but also to connect with other school recruiting teams including faculty and deans.
Recruiters participating in the Annual Meeting Career Fair will be able to:
Friday
- Introduce yourself and your school during our Meet & Greet Networking Day to all Annual Meeting attendees
- Display your school swag/advertising materials
- Attend our inaugural Networking Reception
- Review CVs from hundreds of active and confidential job seekers
- Schedule time to discuss job specifics with individual AOM members on the job market
Mid May, you’ll be able to purchase a Career Fair package on the Career Services Job Board to fit your needs. Pricing begins at $999.00 and private rooms are limited. For more information contact Wendy Kramer.
Job Seekers
Join us in Chicago for the 2024 Annual Meeting Career Fair where participants can attend our new Meet & Greet Networking Day on Friday and interview one-on-one with recruiters Saturday - Monday.
Our Meet & Greet Networking Day is a chance for you to have conversations with faculty in an informal setting without having an appointment so be sure to have your schedule available in case they request more time with you during the meeting. We invite you to stay for our Networking Reception to connect with other job seekers and/or recruiting teams prior to the Annual Meeting Opening Reception.
Scheduled interviews will begin Saturday. To apply for an interview prior to your arrival, be sure to read the information within each job posting. The Career Fair will open mid-May so look for more announcements soon.
Want to be sure you are interview ready? We encourage you to stop by the Career Services Registration table during the Annual Meeting to schedule one-on-one time with an AOM Career Coach. Our coaches have a broad range of experience and actively volunteer with AOM and affiliated societies and organizations. Bring a copy of your CV and your questions. Business attire is strongly suggested.
Job seekers participating in the Annual Meeting Career Fair will be able to:
- Request interviews prior to the event, primarily informational in format.
- Meet face-to-face with recruiters, who are looking for job seekers like you.
- Review the job postings from the 80+ top employers expected to participate.
- Attend a variety of sessions, workshops, networking events, or volunteer with Career Services.
- Connect with an AOM Career Coach to have your CV reviewed, practice mock interviews, discuss salary negotiation tactics, and receive advice on career moves.
This is a members-only event. You must register for the 84th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management to attend the Career Fair in Chicago. Once you are registered to attend the Annual Meeting, be sure to create or update your Career Services profile.
Mid-May you’ll be able to select “Attend This Event” on the Career Services event site so participating employers can find you and potentially schedule interviews.
