Contestants needed for the AMD "Shark Tank" PDW at AOM 2025. Registration for the Annual Meeting and submission of an extended abstract required.
While in Copenhagen for the AOM Annual Meeting, participate in the highly regarded “AMD Shark Tank.” Like the reality TV show, participants will “pitch” their paper ideas to a panel of leading management scholars, who will then, along with the audience, be asked to vote for the most promising paper.
If you are interested in being “on the show,” then submit an extended abstract of your proposed paper (up to four double-spaced pages for the abstract). From the pool of submissions, the AMD editor team will select finalists to serve as contestants. Each contestant will be given 6 to 7 minutes (and no more than 5 PowerPoint slides) to summarize the study during the live session (i.e., make the pitch). Esteemed panelists will then be given a few minutes to give quick, constructive, and perhaps humorous feedback for each paper.
You must be registered to attend the Annual Meeting to participate in this workshop.
