Since its 2018 founding, Responsible Research in Management Award (RRM) has assembled a canon of “responsible research” —72 books and academic articles that have helped to make the world a better place. Although there are incessant calls for research that is relevant to practice, RRM is the only award for socially valuable research whose selection includes affirmation from practicing executives that its findings are actionable. Since 2021, the RRM Awards have been sponsored and selected by members of the Academy of Management Fellows Group which seeks to widely recognize research accomplishments that involve relevance to practical action and as a catalyst for young scholars.
